By participating in these classes you agree to participate entirely at your own risk. Instruction in these classes does not constitute medical advice. You are aware of the risks associated with participating in these classes. Risks of participating in any movement class may include, but are not limited to, physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, economic or emotional loss, and death. You understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from your own negligence, or the condition of the location in which you are participating in online classes. Nonetheless, you assume all related risks, both known or unknown to you, of your participation these classes.

Common Decency Policy

Everyone comes into the class or workshop environment to learn, have fun, and be themselves. In order for this to happen, everyone has to feel safe in the class environment. Please do not make any comments demeaning another person or be rude or disrespectful in any way. If you do so, you will be asked to leave immediately.

This policy also extends to the cultures and peoples where bellydance comes from. As a participant in their culture, it is important you treat the dance and all that comes with it with respect. If you are uncertain or unsure about something, that’s okay! Seek to learn, not to judge. Curiosity is a great teacher.

Refund Policy

Purchases, in most instances, are non-refundable.

You can, however:

• Reschedule your reservation for a group class if you can no longer make it.

• View workshop recordings for 30 days after the workshop.

• If taking a private or semi-private class, work with the Studio to reschedule.

If the class or workshop happens to be cancelled by the Studio, then:

• You are entitled to a full refund.

• You can, in some cases, transfer the payment for your class/session to another Studio offering.

Photo and Video Policy

Photo and video may be taken during a class or workshop session for promotional and/or commercial use. You understand that you may be in said photos or videos, and that these photos or videos may appear on the Studio’s social media, website, promotional material, or online classes. You understand that if you do not wish to appear in any photos or video, that you contact the Studio Instructor the day of your class or workshop to let them know. Lastly, you understand that by consenting to photo and video, you release all claim to said footage.
